QUARTERBACKSOn the roster: Chad Henne, Chad Pennington, Tyler Thigpen, Pat White
Number likely to be kept: 3
On the 2009 opening-day roster: Chad Pennington, Chad Henne, Pat White
The big training camp question: How will the snaps be divided up in training camp and the preseason.
Analysis: The Dolphins have fabulous depth at this position after Henne showed last year he should become a quality NFL player, with Pennington re-signing to provide a top-notch backup, and with Thigpen starting his first full season with the Dolphins. White is the wild card in the equation because the Dolphins certainly wants to see progress with him and aren't likely to give up on him anytime soon. It's been suggested that Pennington could begin the season on PUP to give him more time to recover from shoulder surgery, but he threw well enough -- even though it was limited -- in the offseason to suggest he'll be ready to go by Sept. 12. The Dolphins generally don't like to keep four quarterbacks, but don't be surprised to see them make an exception here.
Who will make the team: Henne, Pennington, Thigpen, White
