For the month of November, Ginn racked up 646 yards on 21 kick returns for a 31.7-yard average.
While becoming the eighth player in NFL history with two kick-return touchdowns in a game, Ginn also racked up the second-highest kickoff return yardage ever — with his 299 trailing only the 304 put up by Tyrone Hughes of the Saints in a 1994 game against the Rams.
Ginn is the second straight Dolphins player this award in November, following kicker Dan Carpenter, who won as a rookie last November. The only other Dolphins player ever named AFC Special Teams Player of the Month was Olindo Mare, who was honored in October of 1999.
"I'm really proud of him," Coach Tony Sparano said. "I think he had a tremendous month. It wasn't just the Jets game. I'm happy for Ted; he certainly deserved it."
