Six Down, Seven To Go

The Dolphins cut six players on Saturday, but they still had seven moves to make before the deadline to get down to 53 players. In addition, linebacker Matt Roth was placed on the reserve/Non-Football Injury list, meaning he will be out for the first six games of the season.

The players released on Saturday morning were S Courtney Bryan, OL Brandon Frye, LB William Kershaw, WR Brandon London, CB Joey Thomas and DE Rodrique Wright.

There were published reports that CB Will Billingsley was released, but that had not been announced as of early Saturday afternoon.
