Wilford Inactive

WR Ernest Wilford

Ernest Wilford was one of the Dolphins' most significant offseason signings, but he will not be playing in the opener. Wilford is among the eight inactives, a list that also includes third quarterback John Beck.

The Dolphins will have five wide receivers available on Sunday, including newcomer Brandon London. Claimed off waivers last weekend, London will be used on special teams.

On the subject of receivers, Greg Camarillo will get the start ahead of Derek Hagan, as had been expected after Camarillo practiced with the first team this week.

Along with Wilford, the other inactives were CB Michael Lehan, RB Jalen Parmele, G Shawn Murphy, DE Lionel Dotson, T Nate Garner and DE Rodrique Wright.

The Jets' inactives are QB Erik Ainge, WR Marcus Henry, WR David Clowney, CB Justin Miller, LB Kenwin Cummings, OL Robert Turner and DL Kareem Brown, with Brent Ratliff serving as the third quarterback.
