But Cameron left Thomas' status for the Raiders game as a big question mark.
Thomas apparently has been lobbying Cameron to let him play, but Cameron said, "It's not about that. It's about the medical people just making sure to let it run its course. They felt awfully good about things so far. They wouldn't put him out there in pads ready to practice and going through a significant amount of practice if they didn't feel good about it. We're just going to stay with that classification, as limited, all the way up probably right until almost game time."
In other injury news, safety Donovius Darius took part in the full practice on Wednesday, and Cameron left open the possibility that he could be in the starting lineup Sunday against the Raiders.
Along with Thomas, the other player who was limited in practice on Wednesday was tight end David Martin (toe).
Safety Lamont Thompson sat out practice because of a migraine.
BROWN RECOGNITION: Ronnie Brown's performance against the Jets didn't go unnoticed as he was among those nominated for AFC Player of the Week honors. The winner was Patriots QB Tom Brady.
