As expected, the Dolphins weren't done with their roster moves after getting down to the NFL roster limit on Saturday. The Dolphins signed a veteran offensive lineman, while waiving tight end Jason Rader and putting rookie guard Joe Toledo on injured reserve.

The lineman signed is eight-year veteran offensive lineman Kendyl Jacox.

The 6-2, 325-pound Jacox has spent the last four seasons (2002-05) with the New Orleans Saints after starting his career with San Diego in 1998. He was released by the Saints on March 17, 2006.

In his eight previous seasons, the 31-year-old Jacox has played in 113 games, including 85 starts. Last year with the Saints, he opened all 15 games in which he appeared, including 13 at left guard and two at center. Jacox first made the Chargers’ roster as an undrafted college free agent in 1998, and went on to start six of the 16 games in which he played during his rookie season, all at right guard.

The move with Toledo is an indication his knee injury was fairly serious. With Toledo and Joe Berger both nursing injuries, the Dolphins found themselves in need to depth along the offensive line.

As for Rader, the move is somewhat surprising because the Dolphins still were under the roster limit after putting Toledo on IR.

In fact, after Sunday's moves, the Dolphins roster stands at 51 players, two under the limit.
