The Dolphins ended up practicing a little less than two hours in the air-conditioned bubble.Coach Nick Saban said he was disappointed that the practice had to be moved inside because it prevented fans from being able to watch, but he said he was pleased with what the team was able to get done.
Without the bubble, Saban said the team would have had to come off the field for a little while.
"We would have gotten work done," Saban said, "but we wouldn't have been as efficient and effective."

The only players absent from practice on Saturday morning were unsigned first-round pick Jason Allen and new guard Bennie Anderson.
Saban said Anderson reported, as scheduled, on Friday but left to go home because of a family illness. There is no timetable for Anderson's return.
As for Allen, he remains unsigned because of a dispute over the number of years of the contract.

Allen became the last unsigned draft pick after seventh-round selection Rodrique Wright was signed to a four-year deal. Wright isn't expected to practice anytime soon, however, after undergoing offseason shoulder surgery.

To make room for Wright on the roster, the Dolphins waived rookie quarterback Justin Holland. Saban said Holland was let go because the Dolphins already have four quarterbacks on the roster, not including quarterback/wide receiver/return specialist Marcus Vick.

In addition to Wright, the only other player at practice who did not work out was rookie wide receiver Eric Kimble, who sustained an Achilles injury during OTA days.
