Here's what Auburn wide receiver Devin Aromashodu had to say after being selected by the Dolphins in the seventh round of the 2006 draft.

On the opportunity to come home and play for the Dolphins

On what this past day and a half was like for him

“It’s been a little rough, but things like this happen.  They happen for reason.  So I’m just happy to just have the opportunity to continue to play football.”

On if he expected to be drafted higher

“Well, maybe a little bit higher, but you never know where you’re going to go and who’s going to pick you.  Like I said I was just happy for the opportunity.”

On if he grew up a Dolphins fan

“Yeah, I grew up a Dolphins fan with me being from Miami.  So I always liked the Dolphins.”

On what the one aspect of his game that stands out

“Well, I guess I would say my ability to close the distance between the cornerback.  I guess l can really close ground.”

On what his relationship is with Ronnie Brown

“We’re real cool.  You have fun with that.  I always talk to him and I always mess with him a lot.”

On what part of his game he needs to work on the most

“Maybe getting in and out of my cuts and maybe my hands.”

On how many Dolphins games he went to growing up

“I probably went to maybe three or four games.  I didn’t go to too many but I went to some of them.”

On who his favorite Dolphin players were

“Mark Clayton and Mark Duper.”
