Feeley has struggled badly since taking over for Fiedler at halftime of the season opener against Tennessee, and he has looked overwhelmed on more than one occasion.
In the first half of Sunday's game against Pittsburgh, for example, Feeley had a quarterback rating of 6.8. That was even lower than the 8.0 Fiedler registered in the first half of the opener against Tennessee.
Behind the Dolphins' struggling offensive line, Fiedler's experience and mobility gives him a much better chance to succeed than Feeley, so the move made sense for the short term.
With the players off on Tuesday, we'll have to wait until Wednesday to see what Fiedler and Feeley have to say about the move.
