The Dolphins went to see Drew Henson perform in his workout in Houston, and he did nothing to kill their interest in him. On the contrary, Henson's performance, by all accounts, was very impressive.

"His arm strength is as good or better than anyone coming out in this year's draft," Dolphins GM Rick Spielman said after Henson's workout, which lasted about an hour.

Spielman and new assistant head coach/quarterbacks coach Marc Trestman were the Dolphins representatives watching Henson, and they were joined by officials from about 20 NFL teams.

Spielman and Trestman were supposed to meet with Henson on Friday to talk football.

Henson has become a hot commodity and the Houston Texans are hoping to sign him and trade after spending a sixth-round pick on him last year while he was still in the middle of his failed baseball career.

The big question with Henson is when exactly he'll be ready to play in the NFL after not playing football since 2000 and also just how big a price will it take to get him away from Houston.

It's probably far-fetched to think the Dolphins can get him for anything less than their first-round pick, which is the 20th overall.
