As most Dolphins fans know, Tannehill is the first quarterback drafted in the first round by Miami since Dan Marino in 1983.As is well know, Tannehill started only games at quarterback at Texas A&M, where he played for new Dolphins offensive coordinator Mike Sherman.
Tannehill spent his first two-plus seasons at Texas A&M at wide receiver until Sherman became intrigued by what he could do at quarterback.
Tannehill, who's almost 6-4 and around 220 pounds, obviously is a very good athlete. He even did some punting at Texas A&M on occasion.
As a quarterback, Tannehill is very mobile and also has a strong arm.
At Texas A&M, he completed 62.5 percent of his passes for 5,450 yards with 42 touchdowns and 21 interceptions.
